Automatic update of device configuration data
NetIM performs an automatic update of device configuration data for all devices that are being polled based upon the schedule you set in the Basic Setup wizard (for example, frequency and time of day). Device configuration data can be collected using CLI, SNMP, WMI, or a combination of these, depending upon the supported technologies on the device.
During SNMP-based metric polling, if NetIM detects that the device has rebooted or the interface number on the device changed between polls, then an immediate update is triggered for the changed device(s) only.
