Dashboards supports optionally saving the applied scope when saving the view template. The saved scope objects will be loaded and applied to the view whenever that view template is displayed. When saving the template, you have the option of saving the current set of scope objects, or saving the searches expressions that resulted in those objects. Saving the searches will result in dynamic scope content due to the searches being reevaluated each time the view is displayed.
