Configuring metric polling during setup
To enable polling to monitor availability and performance metrics on newly discovered devices when setting up NetIM, select Yes on the Configure Automatic Polling screen of the Basic Setup wizard.
If you select No, you can enable or disable polling for individual devices in the Device Manager. See
Manually enabling or disabling metric polling.
This setting affects all newly discovered devices. Be aware that polling adds traffic to your network.
